Peter Kopcha LCSW

Peter is a general practice counselor with an office in South St. Louis County and also available through telehealth. He applies the professional knowledge gained through the UMSL Master of Social Work (MSW) program and four years at Hyland Behavioral Health with a lifetime of experiences, including a first career as a geodetic scientist. Peter’s counseling approach incorporates elements of Humanistic and Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Spirituality, as appropriate for the individual client. Peter has particular interest in helping those who are new to counseling, seniors, and those suffering with sleep disorders. He is an in-network provider for Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, and many commercial insurance companies.
