She started her career as a Certified Public Accountant in Los Angeles\, CA. She worked for KPMG\, one of the “Big 4” international accounting firms\, as an Audit Manager and National Instructor. After transferring to Dallas\, having children\, and getting divorced\, she shifted into a role as an accounting consultant for an Estate Planning and Tax Attorney at a boutique firm in Dallas. During her time at the tax/law firm she consulted with clients about the financial and tax implications of LLC formations\, S-Corp elections\, Wills\, Trusts\, probate\, payroll\, bookkeeping\, wealth management and retirement planning\, and other small business pain points. Accountant by day\, grad student by night\, parent by….24/7\, she gradually made the transition to therapist and the move to St. Louis. She now lives in Kirkwood with her 2 kids and 1 dog. SUMMARY:Holocaust Museum Tour and Training
DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY AUGUST 25TH 9:00 AM TO 1:00 PM 36 MILLSTONE CAMPUS DR\, ST. LOUIS\, MO 63146 \nPsychotherapy St Louis and Sonder Counseling will be sponsoring an event in  conjunction with the St Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum to explore how  intersecting identities on the part of clients and clinicians can alter and impact the  therapeutic process. The event will start with a tour of the museum and will address how  the political and personal combined in Nazi Germany and the impact had on the lived  experiences of the individuals of that era. A workshop will follow the tour wherein  participants will explore their own intersecting identities\, the role of implicit bias in our  lives\, how politics and the personal appear in the mental health field\, and the ethical  quandaries posed by these interactions. \nThe event will qualify for 3 hours of continuing education credit.  This event is provided at no cost and open to clinicians and non-clinicians alike. \nFor questions contact Shayna Warner at Shayna@sondercounselingllc.com \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:This year’s Annual Meeting (open only to Members) will be held in July and be a retreat-style meeting.  It will be a very relaxing meeting away from the bustle of Saint Louis.  You are allowed to bring guests (up to 4 people per room).  The only thing we ask of our members is that you participate in the Annual Meeting held on Saturday morning.\n  \nDates: Friday\, July 19\, 2024 to Saturday July 20\, 2024\n\nLocation: Drury Inn and Suites in Jackson\, MO  63755 (225 Drury Lane / Jackson\, MO   63755)\n\nTime: Friday: 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Social Reception in Hotel Lobby (with food and drink)  Note: The hotel offers a “5:30 Kickback” with food and drink\, that you may also enjoy\nSaturday: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (Complimentary Hot Breakfast in Breakfast Room of the hotel)  Note: Room check-out has been extended until 12:00 noon.  Guests are welcome to enjoy hotel amenities.  \nSaturday: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Bavarian Hall at the Drury Inn (adjacent to the hotel) PStL member participation only\n\nCost:  No cost for PStL members!
