Mr. Hodge is a leader with a distinguished 20+ year career in the St. Louis area in the fields of healthcare, education, and community building. Mr. Hodge currently serves as President of the Normandy Schools Collaborative Joint Executive Governing Board and Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy. He works in several capacities with at-risk youth, including through consultation with school, non-profit, restorative justice systems, and also as chess coach. Mr. Hodge has written, published, and presented extensively on his belief that the key to a sustainable and thriving community lies in the ability to make meaningful personal connections.
For our training seminar, Mr. Hodge will cover the history of segregation and racism in the St. Louis Region, current disparities in health, education, housing and wellness of marginalized populations, and an exploration of our role as providers and citizens in addressing the disparate outcomes of our marginalized populations in St. Louis. Since a social connection allows for a better exchange of ideas, incorporation of a community building activity and debrief will be part of the presentation.
This presentation has been approved by the Missouri State Committee for Social Workers to award 3 CEU credits in DEI to participants.
This training seminar is FREE for all paid Members of Psychotherapy Saint Louis or participants that do not wish to receive the CEU credits.
