Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and considers it a privilege to come alongside courageous clients in the areas of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, abuse, PTSD, as well as strained & broken relationships. Susan integrates Christian spirituality with IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and attachment-based models of psychotherapy. Susan helps clients connect what they know about God and living that knowledge out with the goal of a head-heart connection. Through this process, clients experience long-lasting healing as they learn to live in the freedom of authenticity. Susan is also trained in EMDR therapy, a technique for people who have experienced significant trauma. She finds it important to collaborate with clients in their process and find the best mode of therapy for sustainable healing. Susan is a member of NEDA (National Eating Disorder Association), AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), EMDRIA, American Psychotherapy Association and Psychotherapy St. Louis.
